Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine, #761706, .32 WCF (.32-20) cal., blued 20'' round barrel, with raised-blade front and dovetailed sliding-leaf rear sights, marked with maker's name, address and 1884 patent date on left side, and ''32 W.C.F.'' at breech; blued tubular magazine; blued receiver with left-side stud and sling ring, is mounted with a Marble screw-adjustable peep tang sight, and marked with the serial number at lower front; case hardened loop operating lever; oil-finished walnut forearm with blued barrel band, matching buttstock with steel carbine buttplate. Mfg'd 1914. Condition is near-fine. Barrel and mag tube retain approx. 60% blue (missing at right side of barrel); receiver retains 10% blue in protected areas and otherwise a smooth gray-brown patina; lever, barrel band and buttplate are gunmetal gray. Stocks are sound and smooth with minor age/use marks. Edges and markings are sharp. Action is strong and smooth; bore shines with defined rifling. Est.: $750-$1,250. (C&R)
