Colt ''Peacemaker .22'' Scout Single Action Revolver, #G17732, .22 mag. cal., 4.75'' round barrel, with integral blade front and topstrap groove rear sight, marked with maker's name and address in one line on top, and ''Peacemaker .22'' on left side; blued 6-shot fluted round cylinder is marked ''.22 Mag.'' on rear circumference; case hardened frame (with the two-line 1871-72-75 patent dates and a ''Rampant Colt'' logo on left side), and swing-out loading gate; blued hammer with sides polished ''bright''; blued steel gripstraps with scroll engraving at butt; two-piece checkered black hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval cartouche at top, and spread-wing American eagle in relief at bottom. Condition is as new and apparently unfired, as blued surfaces retain approx. 96% deep original finish (slight holster wear at muzzle and front of ejector tube); case hardened frame and hammer show all of their lovely soft colors; grips show perfect detail, no wear, and fit well. Action and lock-up are crisp and sure; bore is brilliant with full interior blue and sharp rifling. Est.: $500-$750. (Modern/PPT)
