Colt Detective Special Third Issue Double Action Revolver, #57814M, .38 Spec. cal., 2'' barrel, blue finish, checkered wraparound wood grips, with standard fixed sights. Condition overall is very good with approx. 97% remaining original finish. Triggerguard with some tiny specks of pitting. Factory lettering is clear, screw heads are straight. Grips with scattered shallow handling marks, approx. 95% of the factory finish remains with a dime-sized spot of finish loss to bottom corner of right grip. Cylinder with only a light index line.
