Civil War Remington New Model Army Percussion Revolver, #120398, .44 cal., 8'' octagonal barrel with screw-in small blade front and topstrap groove rear sight is marked on top flat with the Remington name, address, 1858 patent date and ''New Model''; solid frame; plain 6-shot round cylinder; hinged loading lever; overall nickel plated with two-piece oil-finished walnut grips. Condition is good retaining approx. 95% of a later nickel finish that shows scattered minor puckering but is bright overall; markings are weak. Grips are sound with nicks and wear and a shallow chip out at right toe. Action is crisp and tight; bore is shiny with deep rifling. Est.: $650-$950. (Antique)
