Antique Colt ''New House'' Spurtrigger Pocket Revolver, #12737, .38 CF cal., 2.25'' barrel is marked with the Colt name and address on top, the serial number at muzzle bottom, and ''Colt New 38'' in an etched panel on left side; long-fluted round 5-shot cylinder; solid frame with integral trigger sheath and grip straps; finely checkered two-piece black hard rubber grips having ''Colt'' within an oval panel at top. Mfg'd ca. 1880-86 in a quantity of approx. 4,000 guns. Condition is very good, retaining approx. 50% original nickel plating having scattered erosion and puckering, but sharp edges and clear markings including barrel etching. Grips retain sharp checkering and lettering. Action is crisp; bore is clean with sharp rifling. Est.: $300-$500. (Antique)
