Winchester Model 94 Lever Action Carbine, #1552657, .30 WCF (.30-30) cal., blued 20'' round barrel, with ramped-bead front and dovetailed buckhorn rear sights, marked with maker's name, address, ''Winchester Proof Steel'' and ''Model 94 - 30 W.C.F.'' on left side; blued tubular magazine and retaining band; blued receiver is unmarked but for serial nu,ber at lower front; loop operating lever; oil-finished walnut forearm with blued barrel band, matching buttstock with checkered steel carbine buttplate. Mfg'd 1949. Condition is fine. Blued surfaces retain approx. 80% original finish (thinning to receiver), with scattered light marks. Stocks are sound and smooth with use/handling marks and finish wear. All markings are sharp. Action is strong and smooth; bore is brilliant with deep rifling. Est.: $400-$700. (C&R)
