Marlin Model 93 Lever Action Repeating Carbine, #8085, .30-30 CF cal., 20'' round barrel, with block-blade front and adjustable sliding-leaf rear sights, marked with the maker's name, address and ''Special Smokeless Steel'' flanked by diamonds behind the rear barrel band, and ''30-30'' at breech; full-length tubular magazine with retaining band at front sight; solid receiver is marked ''Marlin Safety'' flanked by feather-like brackets, ''Marlin/Model 93'' on top tang, and ''8085'' on bottom tang; loop operating lever; oil-stained walnut forearm and buttstock with carbine buttplate. Mfg'd ca. 1920s-30s. Condition is very good. Barrel retains approx. 80% blue, mag tube 40%, case hardened receiver and buttplate have silvered out, hammer and lever show good case colors. Stocks are sound and smooth showing nice grain and color. Action is currently inoperable; bore is brilliant with shallow rifling. Est.: $350-$550. (C&R)
