Custom Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Target Rifle, #62718, .308 cal., 29'' medium-weight stainless steel target free-floating barrel with 1/12 twist, glass-bedded stock to blue frame, walnut target cheekpiece stock with adjustable aluminum buttplate and handstop; Redfield Int'l Match rear sight and modern spirit level globe front sight. Top of receiver has been fitted with a case hardened stripper clip guide, as well as a two-piece Weaver mount. Follower, ramp and bolt are polished. Condition is excellent as modified, with some tape residue to barrel; bolt handle has been dipped in silicone and is beginning to flake (easily removed or redone). Four neatly plugged holes to right side of frame from previous target sights; triggershoe has been added. Stock shows just the lightest marks from range use. One-stage trigger is light and crisp.
