Browning ''Sweet 16'' Model Auto-5 Semi-Automatic Shotgun, #X89774. 16 ga. 30'' plain barrel has a 2-3/4'' chamber and is choked Mod. The action is standard Auto-5, with later crossbolt safety and magazine release. The slender forend and round knob pistol-grip buttstock are dark walnut with nice grain; original FN/Browning automatic buttplate is in place. Mfg'd 1953. Condition is very good to near excellent as apparently refinished. Receiver and barrel are a very deep blue; action is tight and snaps shut; wood may be original but has many small handling marks.
