L.C. Smith Field Grade Featherweight Side-by-Side Shotgun, #189619. 12 ga. 30'' barrels are marked ''Armor Steel'', have 2-3/4'' chambers, and are choked IM./Full. Sidelock action features double triggers, auto safety and plain extractors. Splinter forend and pistol-grip buttstock are Standard Grade walnut, but feature an ivory grip cap and forend tip; plain plastic buttplate. Mfg'd 1940. Condition is very good to fine, with approx. 80% case hardening on action, 95% barrel blue and only a few handling marks to wood. Action locks tight and bores are bright. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R)
