Moritz' Sohn, Leipzig Over/Under Combination Gun, #27212. 12 ga. 25.5'' solid rib over barrel has 2-3/4'' chamber and is choked Full; under barrel is in caliber 5.6mm Super Express (1 empty case included); barrels are of Krupp ''Laufstahl'', with modern Suhl nitro proofmarks. Scalloped receiver has moderate engraving. Very strong boxlock action utilizes dual underlugs plus Kersten crossbolt, with dual triggers, non-auto safety, standard extractors and cocking indicators. Barrel rib has fixed open sight and mounts for quick-detachable scope. Slender forend and pistol-grip buttstock feature plastic grip cap, sling swivels, recoil pad, and two-position Monte Carlo cheekpiece. Mfg'd approx. 1950s. Condition is very good with some toning to metal surfaces, minor marks to the wood, and one expertly repaired crack to forend tip. A very high quality German combination gun. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R)
