L.C. Smith Field Grade Featherweight Side-by-Side Shotgun, #12672. 20 ga. 28'' barrels are marked ''Field Grade'' and ''Armor Steel'', have 2-1/2'' chambers and are choked IM/Full. Sidelock action features double triggers, crossbolt lockup, auto safety and standard extractors. Barrels, watertable and forend iron all marked ''FW'' for Featherweight Frame. Splinter forend and pistol-grip buttstock of Standard Grade American walnut with standard flat diamond checkering; has black plastic grip cap and 13-3/4'' length of pull to Pachmayr Whiteline butt pad. Included with this gun is a Certificate from the L.C. Smith Collectors Assoc. that attests to the configuration above. Mfg'd 1919. Condition is near excellent, with 75%-80% case colors remaining, no major handling marks, and slight fading to barrel blue. Lockup is tight, action is crisp, and bores are bright.
