Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army Revolver, #287503, .41 Colt CF cal., blued 4.75'' barrel with ejector, marked on top with maker's name and address in two lines, and ''41 Colt'' on left side; fluted 6-shot cylinder is marked ''V'' on front face; case hardened solid frame is marked with the two-line 1871-72-75 patent dates and the encircled ''Rampant Colt'' logo on left side; loading gate is correctly batch marked ''4125''; blued steel gripstraps (with a verified proof and ''6'' inspector's marks on left triggerguard webs); checkered two-piece black hard rubber grips have the Rampant Colt in relief within an oval cartouche. Mfg'd 1906. Condition is near excellent. Barrel and cylinder retain approx. 80% deep blue, ejector 50%, gripstraps 50% blue (primarily missing at wear areas), frame and hammer retain 75% mottled case colors (bright in places). Grips with very minor wear, no cracks or chips, and fit well. All visible serial numbers match; screw slots are unblemished; action is strong and smooth; bore is clean with defined rifling.
