Ithaca Model 49 Lever Action Carbine, #490449101, .22 S-L-LR RF cal., blued 18'' round barrel with dovetailed bead-blade front and adjustable open rear sights marked with caliber designation and maker's name and address on left side; blued tubular under-barrel faux cartridge magazine; steel receiver and loop operating lever with black-painted finish; oil-stained hardwood forend held by a single barrel band, straight buttstock having pressed fleur-de-lis checkering at wrist and Ithaca checkered black plastic buttplate. Condition is excellent, the metal parts retaining approx. 97% of their factory finishes. Stocks are smooth and solid with sharp checkering and a few minor dings and scrapes extending to buttplate.
