Modern Kentucky Style Fullstock Percussion Rifle, #1165, .44 cal., 35'' blued octagonal barrel has blade front and notched rear sights, is marked ''EIG - Italy'' on left angled flat and ''PI XXIV/(entwined BG logo)/M 1165 and Cal.44'' on right angled flat; case hardened lockplate and hammer; brass furniture including sideplate, scrolled finger-rest triggerguard, nosecap, two ramrod ferrules, patchbox opening to trap in stock for patches and spare parts, and crescent buttplate; walnut fullstock; brass-tipped hardwood ramrod. Condition is excellent, with barrel retaining most original blue, brass with a light patina, and solid and smooth stock. Action is crisp; bore appears clean with sharp rifling. Est.: $250-$450.
