Reproduction Halfstock Plains Style Percussion Rifle, by Thompson Center Arms, #K207153, .50 cal., 29'' blued octagonal barrel with dovetailed bead-blade front and screw-adjustable open rear sights; engraved flush-mounted case hardened lockplate and matching hammer, double set triggers, brass furniture including lock screw escutcheon, scrolled triggerguard with finger-rest, crescent buttplate, patchbox with hinged cover over trap for patches and containing a bullet worm and spare nipple, barrel wedge and two oval escutcheons, nosecap and two ramrod thimbles, and brass-tipped hardwood ramrod; varnished walnut halfstock. Condition is very good, the barrel retaining 70% thinning blue, the brass with a light patina. Stock with a linseed-oil finish with minor wear and handling marks.
