^Lot 921 WWI French Model 1917 Flare Pistol

WWI French Model 1917 Flare Pistol, #868, 25mm, 4'' brass barrel, brass frame, checkered walnut grips, side-lever, with lanyard ring. Trigger is numbered to match the frame. Left side of barrel and rear portion of frame are stamped with a ''V''. Condition overall is very good. Brass with intermittent moderate impressions and toning. Left grip with a hairline crack above the retaining screw, otherwise both show moderate age and wear consistent with the metal surfaces. Hammer and trigger operate smoothly; very good bore.
