Turkish Model 38 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #6540, 8x57mm cal., 29.1'' barrel, blued/parkerized finish, hardwood stock, inverted ''V'' front sight and adjustable tangent rear sight. Marked on receiver ring ''TC ASFA ANKAR K.KALE 1940'' around Turkish crest. Mismatched number on bolt, matching number on triggerguard. Brass cleaning rod included. Condition overall is very good with approx. 90% of the blued/parkerized refinish remaining on the metal with the bolt left bright. Handguard is a Turkish replacement and is unfinished. Stock has darkened and shows overall handling marks. Action is smooth, bore is dark with very good rifling. Import stamped on right side of barrel. Est.: $200-$300. (C&R)
