British Webley MK II Double Action Revolver, #54642, .45 ACP cal., 4'' barrel, blued finish, vulcanite grips, blade front sight and ''V''-notched rear sight. Marked on left side of frame ''WEBLEY PATENTS'' around ''MARK II''. Proof and viewing information along with a broad arrow stamped on left side of barrel extension. Top of barrel extension engraved with a large Broad Arrow associated with naval service and a stamped armorer's asterisk. London export/import proofs stamped on barrel. Revolver has been converted to .45 ACP by ''shaving'' rear of cylinder. Condition overall is very good with approx. 80% finish remaining on metal surfaces, slightly browning, with overall handling marks. Grips are very good with a small separation on the butt of right grip and a chip at the top, with overall fading and flattening. Bright bore is very good, and the chambers are clean. Action locks up tight and functions smoothly. Includes a U.S. military holster in heavily modified fair condition. Est.: $400-$650. (C&R/PPT)
