Antique Belgian Single Shot Boxlock Percussion Pocket Pistol, #28, approx. .44 cal., 3-1/8'' octagonal barrel marked ''8grN.G.P.m/m71/8grBl.'' in two lines at breech, and a ''(double-crown)/U'' proofmark over ''72,68'' on right flat at frame juncture; the same proofmark appears adjacent on the frame; serial number ''28'' appears on left barrel flat and adjacent on frame; with one-piece varnished hardwood bag-style grips. Condition is very good retaining no original finish with an overall brown patina; percussion nipple is a modern replacement as is the top tang screw. Grips are smooth and sound. Action is excellent; bore appears rusty but should clean. Est.: $150-$250. (Antique)
