Reproduction Colt Model 1847 Walker Percussion Revolver, by Navy Arms Co., #00257, .44 cal., 9'' octagon-to-round blued barrel marked ''Navy Arms Co. Ridgefield NJ. Made in Italy'' on top flat and ''US / 1847'' on right side above wedge with Italian proofmarks to right, and ''A. Uberti & C. Gardone V.T. Italy cal. 44 black powder only'' underneath; 2-7/16'' six-shot cylinder with rolled ''Rangers and Indians Fight'' scene including ''Model U.S.M.R.'' (United States Mounted Rifles) and ''Colt's Patent'' in fancy panels; case hardened loading lever with Walker-unique retaining spring, case hardened hammer and frame with proofmarks on right side; blued screws, unfinished steel backstrap and brass triggerguard; oil-finished one-piece walnut grips. Condition is fine retaining approx. 50% muted/thinning barrel blue; wedge and surrounding area with light tool marks from removal and broken screw head; unfinished cylinder with dark patina and index line; case hardening bright on frame and muted to hammer and lever, aged patina to straps. Grips are fine without chips or cracks and with perhaps a light coat of added finish. Action is tight and strong; bore appears clean with defined rifling. Est.: $500-$750. (No FFL Required)
