Browning Model BLR 81 Lever Action Rifle, #18763NM227, .243 cal., 20'' round barrel, steel receiver, blue finish, with gold-colored trigger; gloss finished straight grip walnut stock is checkered at both the wrist and forend, with sling swivel studs and a black rubber Browning recoil pad. Also featuring a hammer extension, dovetailed blade front sight with brass bead, notched rear sight, and fitted with a Bushnell 3-9x40mm scope with duplex reticle. Includes two (2) magazines. Metal rates as fine with approx. 97% original blue finish; left rear section of receiver with a few vertical scratches. Wood is very good showing signs of some field use, including shallow scratches and surface nicks; buttstock checkering is clean and shows no mentionable wear; forend checkering with a few flat spots, the largest being on the left side.
