Remington Model 788 Bolt Action Rifle, in desirable .44 mag. cal., #025666, 22'' barrel, blue finish, walnut one-piece pistol-grip Monte Carlo stock with black composite Remington buttplate, with one magazine. Sights include a large fixed blade front and ''U''-notched rear. Mfg'd 1968. Approx. 98%+ original blue finish remains and rifle rates as near excellent overall. Factory lettering is clear and defined. Wood with a handful of scattered small marks from handling and field use, mainly to the left side of the buttstock and forend. Excellent action and bore.
