Savage Model 99 Lever Action Carbine, #361536, .303 Sav. cal., 22'' barrel, blue finish, case hardened lever, checkered pistol-grip walnut stock and forend, with serrated steel buttplate. Mfg'd 1938. Condition is excellent. Metal surfaces retain approx. 95% thinning blue with some small scratches. Factory peep sight has been removed revealing the two holes in upper tang; rearmost sight on barrel has been neatly filled with a dovetail blank. Stock and forend are excellent with just the lightest impressions. Good action, bright bore. Est.: $500-$750. (C&R)
