Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army Cartridge Revolver, #254420,.45 Colt CF cal., 4.75 blued round barrel with integral tall blade front sight is marked on top ''Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co./Hartford, CT. U.S.A.'' in two lines and ''.45 Colt'' on left side; blued round-fluted 6-shot cylinder; case hardened solid frame with long top groove rear sight marked with the two-line 1871-72-75 patent dates and encircled ''Rampant Colt'' logo on left side; hinged loading gate is correctly batch numbered ''2347''; case hardened hammer and trigger and blued gripstraps, with two-piece checkered walnut grips having ''Rampant Colt'' medallions at top. All visible serial numbers match. Mfg'd 1904. Condition is excellent as refinished in blue and case hardening, retaining approx. 98% deep blue and mottled case hardened finishes, and grips with minor overall wear.
