Colt #3 Thuer derringer in .41 caliber rimfire with blue and nickel finish and original period ivory grips. Period inscribed on back strap “Baker, Gun Manufacturer, London” showing British proofs, S/N 43870.The barrel shows 10%-20% blue drifting to patina with 80%-90% original nickel. The ivory grips are almost fine with only slight aging and fit impeccably also original to the period. The markings are good and workswell. A collector’s quality #3 with great grips.
