Colt factory grape vine scroll engraved .38 centerfire pocket navy, S/N 2049E with a 4 ½” octagon barrel plugged using left over percussion parts but made as a cartridge arm in own serial number range. 85%-95% originalfactory nickel finish drifting on the straps. Most of original light cylinder scene remains. All matching visible numbers including cylinder. The grips show 80%-90% original varnish. Good address and “Wolf” onhammer. The left barrel lug shows a typical “Parrot Eagle” which is a style attributed to Gustave Young. Very attractive and desirable pattern of engraving. (Antique) Est.: $5000-$10,000
