Lot 361 Silver Mexican Saddle

Handsome maker marked Mexican saddle by Juan Galindo Jr. Eldo, de Mex with short sword and piteado scabbard, black felt sombrero marked Dexton, bridle with wool tufted horse hair reins and piteado headstall, boots and piteado holster with S&W .32 cal double action 4" barrel revolver with bone grips. Saddle is very good original condition, features well accomplished floral carving, stitched borders, heavy silver overlaid Mexican eagles and snakes to the rigging reins, coin chonchos on the stirrups with Mexican silver horn cap showing nice repouse designs 5 1/2" in diameter. Seat measures 13 1/2" and includes large set of leather with piteado bags additionally showing silver embroidery. A fine ensemble that displays nicely.
