Lot 116 Sharps Blanket Rifle
Fabulous documented 1863 rifle with Civil War background, in 52 caliber, period cut down to be a blanket gun, with a barrel measuring 14 1/2". With much military history, through the Civil War it was beautifully decorated and inlaid with 7 mother of pearl US Army Corps badges. A great peice of American history that could tell quite a story.
