^Lot 1277 Stevens Side-by-Side Shotgun

Stevens Side-by-Side Shotgun (unmarked but probably a Model 311), #E68751. 12 ga. 30'' barrels have 2-3/4'' chambers and are choked Mod/Full. Simple boxlock action uses crossbolt lockup on rib extension, and features double triggers, extractors and auto safety. Wood appears to be maple, brown stained and uncheckered, with a solid buttplate. Mfg'd 1930s. Condition is fair externally but serviceable. Wood has extensive handling and storage marks. Action has half of its case coloring remaining, and both it and the barrels have traces of surface rust. Lockup is tight, bores are good. Est.: $150-$250. (C&R)
