^Lot 1110 Winchester Model 1897 Pump Action Trench Gun

Winchester Model 1897 Pump Action Trench Gun, #952990, 12 ga., 20'' barrel, 2-3/4'' chamber choked Cyl. bore, with U.S. flaming bomb marking to left side of frame; blue finish, walnut stock, with factory hard rubber buttplate. Mfg'd in the mid- to late 1940s. Complete with barrel shroud and bayonet lug. Condition is near fine retaining approx. 82% blue. Stock is very good with light marks and dings. Buttplate appears to be from a different Winchester shotgun. Front sling swivel is missing; buttstock has no provision for swivel. Barrel shroud appears to be a later add-on and lacks factory quality. Good action, mirror bright bore. Est.: $600-$800. (C&R)
