Savage Model 1921 ('21) Field Grade Slide-Action Shotgun, #1441. 12 ga. 30'' plain barrel is choked Full. Ribbed circular forend and pistol-grip buttstock are standard walnut without grip cap or checkering but with solid red butt pad. Housed in leather leg-o-mutton takedown case. Mfg'd 1920s. Condition is good retaining approx. 85% thinning blue with expected wear to wood and metal. Piece of metal braised just in front of forend. Action appears to function correctly but could use a thorough cleaning; bore is without damage. Butt pad needs replacement. An uncommon Savage Model. Est.: $200-$400. (C&R)
