Winchester Model 1890 Second Model Pump Action Rifle, #170239, .22 WRF cal., 24'' octagon barrel, straight grip walnut stock, 12-groove forend, crescent steel buttplate, dovetailed front sight, ''V''-notched rear sight missing the elevation screw. Top of barrel with Winchester proofmark and ''(oval)P''. Mfg'd 1903. Condition is good. Barrel and magazine tube with a mostly brown patina; barrel with scattered patches of shallow pitting, predominantly on the front half, as well as witness marks near the receiver; address is clear. Receiver and other metal is a combination silvery gray and lighter brown in color. Stock shows age and wear consistent with the metal surfaces, including general moderate scuffs and scratches; left side of forend with a chip missing. Very good action and bore. Est.: $350-$550. (C&R)
