WWII Walther Model 1928 Heer ac1940 Flare Pistol, #4067g, single action, 26.5mm, 6-1/8'' aluminum barrel, aluminum frame, black finish, checkered brown Bakelite grips, with lanyard ring. Left side of frame is marked ''ac/1940'' and also contains the serial number; right side with ''(eagle)/359'' Waffenamt mark and one ''(eagle)/heart'' proofmark. Right side of barrel with two each ''359'' Waffenamt marks and one eagle proofmark. Barrel and frame with visible matching numbers. In very good overall condition with approx. 80%-85% dark finish, thinning to barrel accounts for a majority of the finish loss. Front right edge of barrel with a noticeable ding (roundness is not affected). Maker's marks, etc. are clear. Grips are nice and show moderate wear. Action is excellent, operating smoothly with a quick snap open and tight lockup upon closing. Bore is excellent for its age. Est.: $300-$500.
