Polish M44 Mosin-Nagant Bolt Action Carbine, with side folding bayonet, #BD06571, 7.62x54R cal., 20.25'' barrel, blue finish, wood stock, hooded post front sight, adjustable tangent rear sight, cleaning rod, and canvas sling with leather collars; sling is unmarked. Stamped ''(circle)/11'' and ''1952'' on barrel shank, with numerous small inspection stamps, etc. throughout. Right side of buttstock is marked with a small ''(diamond)E'' and little larger ''(diamond)OW''. Metal with visible matching numbers; stock is unnumbered. Left side of barrel is import marked. Approx. 85% lightly thinning blue finish remains and rifle rates as fine overall. Factory lettering is clear. Wood with a nice even finish and color; general shallow impressions and handling marks. Action is smooth; bore is bright with strong rifling. Bayonet operates smoothly. Sling shows normal light age and wear. Est.: $300-$500. (C&R)
