^Lot 718 Lot of 2 Custom Fixed Blade Knives

Lot of Two (2) Custom Fixed Blade Knives, by Ray Rantanen and Joel A. Worley: 1.) Damascus blade knife, by Ray Rantanen, 4-3/4'' blade, 9-1/2'' overall. Single brass guard and pommel, with a handle that is a combination of antler and what looks like Blesbok antelope horn, with white and black spacers. In black leather sheath that is stamped on back ''RR''. Blade rates as excellent with a clean and sharp cutting edge. Brass pieces with some dark toning and verdigris; both would improve with a thorough cleaning. Sheath is very good showing light storage wear. 2.) Joel A. Worley Custom, 8'' blade is hand forged from an old file, 13-1/4'' overall, tapered tang, with wood handles. In nicely made dark leather sheath with an inlaid piece of what looks like alligator skin; leather has a light ''hammer forged'' type appearance and a majority is double stitched. Condition is excellent with scattered light scratches and small marks from handling. Est.: $350-$550/lot.
