Marlin Model 336SC Sporting Carbine, #H52990, .35 Rem. cal., 20'' round ''JM'' marked barrel, blue finish, smooth pistol-grip walnut stock and forend, factory black plastic buttplate, dovetailed front sight with brass bead, and standard open rear sight missing the elevator. Mfg'd 1951. In very good overall condition retaining approx. 93%-95% factory blue; factory lettering is clear. Wood shows normal moderate wear from field use; highest concentration being on the top and right side of buttstock; Marlin ''bulls eye'' is missing from the bottom edge. Crisp action, excellent bore.
