Winchester Model 70 SA Classic Bolt Action Rifle, with Leupold scope, #G71747, .308 cal., 22'' barrel, matte stainless finish, checkered pistol-grip walnut stock with Schnabel forend, red rubber Winchester recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. Topped with a matte silver Leupold VX-III 2.5-8x36mm scope and blued steel Redfield mount; scope with duplex reticle. Metal surfaces are excellent with a few light handling marks; factory lettering is sharp. One-piece stock with clean checkering and some small impressions and normal minor marks from field use. It does appear that the stock was re-oiled and unfortunately was not kept clean, as there are some fine dust particles and fibers imbedded in the finish. Action is smooth with a bright excellent bore. Scope appears near new with bright, clear optics. Est.: $500-$700. (Modern)
