^Lot 398 SW Model 29-2 Double Action Revolver

Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 Double Action Revolver, #N69087, .44 mag. cal., 4'' pinned barrel, blue finish, polished bright wide target hammer and trigger, factory checkered square butt wood target grips with S&W medallions, red ramp front sight and micrometer click adjustable rear sight. All of the factory lettering has been highlighted in gold. Mfg'd 1969-1972. Approx. 96%-97% original blue finish remains and revolver rates as fine overall. Wear to each side of muzzle and a moderate index line account for a majority of the finish loss. Factory lettering and gold highlights are clear and well defined. Grips appear to have had an added coat of semi-gloss finish applied, both showing intermittent normal small handling marks; checkering is excellent; right grip is a little lighter in color from being on display in the casino and also has an approx .25'' hairline crack on the upper back edge.
