Smith & Wesson Model 14-3 K-38 Target Masterpiece Double Action Revolver, #5K27646, .38 Spec. cal., 8-3/8'' pinned barrel, blue finish, polished bright wide target hammer and trigger, smooth square butt Goncalo alves target grips with S&W medallions, red ramp front sight and micrometer click adjustable rear sight. All of the factory lettering has been highlighted in gold. Mfg'd 1974. Approx. 96% original blue finish remains and revolver rates as fine overall. A scratch to the left side near the muzzle, thin index line to the cylinder, and a few spots of thinning and wear underneath the right grip account for a majority of the finish loss. Factory lettering is clear; gold highlights on left side of barrel are a little faded. Grips with an added coat of semi-gloss finish, both showing intermittent handling marks; right grip and back edge of left grip are lighter in color from being on display in the casino.
