Early 3rd Generation Colt Sheriff's Model Single Action Revolver, with extra cylinder, #SA40572, .44-40 and .44 Special cal., 3'' barrel, blue finish, color case hardened frame, smooth walnut grips, with standard fixed sights. Both cylinders with matching numbers ''0572'' on the front. In glass-topped wooden display case with fitted tan velvet lining. Mfg'd 1980. Condition is excellent and appearing near new. 99% factory finishes remain with a few tiny spots of finish loss to the upper left edge of the frame. .44-40 cylinder shows only a very faint index line between a few of the cylinder stop notches and a few small scratches to the cylinder face. .44 Special cylinder with light micro-scratching and a thin light index line. Case colors are deep with clean and crisp factory lettering. Grips with a few small handling marks. Exterior of the display case shows only normal minor storage wear. Est.: $1,200-$1,800. (Modern/PPT)
