Rare Buck Knives 20-Year Service Award Custom Shop Subhilt Bowie Knife, 7-1/4'' mirror polished blade is marked on one side in 24k gold plating ''BUCK KNIVES 20 YEAR SERVICE AWARD'', with collector's ''Blacksmith & Anvil'' logo in the background. Blade is also marked ''Buck Custom U.S.A.'' and ''013'' is lightly engraved near the finger choil. Finger-grooved ivory handle with nickel silver guard and pommel. Overall length is 12-1/2''. In glass topped wood display case with royal blue velvet interior. Blade is in mint condition with a bright high polished finish and showing no wear to the 24k gold plating. Nickel silver surfaces show some micro-scratching from handling; top lower portion of the guard with a little more noticeable scratching that could probably be polished out. Wood display is excellent and shows only minor storage type wear. Seldom seen, this knife comes from a long-time Buck knife collector. Est.: $1,400-$1,800.
