WWII German Mauser 42 Code P.08 Luger, #9184d, 9mm, 4'' barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut grips, with earlier mismatched magazine. Chamber dated 1940, toggle coded 42, with all visible matching numbers; thumb safety marked ''Geischert'', extractor marked ''Geladen''. Condition is fine retaining approx. 94% blue, with wear at muzzle, forward edges of frame, triggerguard, and high edges of sideplate. Front and back strap have thinned to approx. 80%. Grips are very good with minor losses to checks and even general overall thinning. Good action, very good bore. Est.: $1,200-$1,800. (C&R)
