^Lot 74 Winchester Model 42 Standard Grade Shotgun

Winchester Model 42 Standard Grade Slide-Action Shotgun, #147388. .410 bore 28'' plain barrel has a 3'' chamber and is choked Full. Forend is the late 14-groove configuration with flat bottom, and pistol-grip buttstock is the post-war version, but with an early (pre-'59) Winchester buttplate. Mfg'd 1961. Condition is excellent and original, showing little use, and does not appear to have been reblued. There are a few small handling marks to the wood, but almost none to the metal, other than slide wear. Bore is a little dirty but not damaged. A nice little Model 42. Est.: $1,500-$2,000. (C&R)
