Remington-Elliot ''Vest Pocket'' Single Shot Spurtrigger Cartridge Deringer, #2122, .41 RF cal., 2.5'' round barrel marked ''Remingtons_Ilion_N.Y. / Elliot. Pat. Aug. 27. 1867'' in two lines, with two-piece varnished dark walnut (or rosewood) ''bird's head'' grips. Mfg'd 1867-88. Condition is very good retaining bright blue to sides of hammer spur, but otherwise no original finish, an overall gunmetal gray color and clear markings. Grips are very good and retain much of their original varnish finish. Action seems to work properly; bore appears clean with sharp rifling. Est.: $650-$950. (Antique)
