^Lot 1210 Arisaka Type 99 7.7mm SN: C678

Bolt action rifle. Japanese WW2 military. 32" barrel. No blued finish left, turning to brown patina. Scattered pin-prick pitting throughout. Bore is dark/dirty. Action is stiff, needs oiling. Wood stock/handguard has numerous scratches/dings, and a 3 1/2" crack between the tang, and the triggerguard. This is the single-shot trainer version. Never had a chrysanthemun. The three Japanese characters on the chambers should be the name of the school. Serial# matches on the receiver, bolt. NRA condition-Fair/good. Modern firearm.
