Arisaka Type 99 bolt action rifle, 7.7 x 58 caliber, Serial #51813. The rifle is in fair overall condition with a 26” barrel with a protected post front and military tangent style rear sights. The barrel and receiver have gone to a grey patina with light surface rust in areas and the mum ground off the front ring. The cleaning rod is missing as are the aircraft wings from the rear sight. The smooth wood stock is in fair condition showing heavy use with mars, dents and bruising. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate. The rifle retains the sling swivels and a period canvas sling. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are legible. Est.: $100-$200. (C+R).
