Ross Model 1905 straight pull bolt rifle, .303 British caliber, Serial #NSNV. The rifle is in fair overall condition with a 28” barrel with a hooded blade front and military ladder style rear sights. The metal surfaces have all gone to a grey patina with light surface rust in areas. The action is not working correctly and should be inspected by a competent gunsmith. The smooth wood stock is in fair condition showing heavy use with dents, mars and bruising. The butt stock retains the sling swivels, shows several cartouches and ends with a smooth steel butt plate with trap. The bore is fair, the action is non-functioning and the markings are legible.
