Lot 841 19GK-14 POMEROY FL RIFLE
U.S. Model 1816 Type III .69 caliber musket with 42” barrel and all features as standard on this issue. Refer: Flayderman who lists 21,600 total made in type I and III. Original flintlock with correct small parts. State of N.Y. markings on the left breech. Untouched as found in “the Black” uncleaned condition. Sharp stock markings and cartouche. Ramrod retain. Good “Pomeroy” made lock. U.S. not visible under scale or rust. Stock is good but uncleaned. Also with normal imperfections and aging. The way collectors like them. (Antique) Est.: $750-$1500
