Marlin Model 1895 SS lever action rifle, .45/70 Govt. caliber, Serial #06040520. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 22” barrel with a hooded post front and folding rear sights. The metal surfaces retain nearly all of their blue finish with only light handling marks. The receiver is topped with a Burris Fullfield 2 x 7 variable power scope with clear, crisp optics. The checkered wood stocks are in good condition with mars, dents and some flattening of the checkering. The butt stock ends with a Marlin marked rubber butt pad. The bore is good, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this Marlin chambered in the stout .45/70 Government cartridge. Est.: $350-$700. (Modern).
